The Library of Congress rich collections span almost every topic in a variety of media formats including print, film and recordings. Popular permanent exhibits include Thomas Jefferson's Library, Exploring the Early America's, and Hope for America: Performers, Politics and Pop Culture.

Our temporary exhibits offer rare views of some of the world's most rare materials. Currently, The Civil Rights Act of 1964: A Long Struggle for Freedom is on view.  It features original materials from the civil rights movement, including the recently acquired Rosa Parks collection.
