George Washington Bust
Our bust is a replica of a sculpture of George Washington by Jean-Antoine Houdon. Houdon revised the original sculpture many times before settling on this rendition. He was so meticulous in his work that he made a life mask of Washington to ensure its accuracy. Polyresin. 6"h.
The Library of Congress holds a collection of George Washington papers from 1741-1799. Most of the last decade of the collection has been digitized for expanded research and use.
